What you'll do in this role

• Our Team Leaders ensure each and every one of our customers have a great service experience.
• You’ll be responsible for taking orders, serving excellent quality food and a great range of drinks.
• You’ll work with the team on shift to create a friendly, buzzing atmosphere for our customers to enjoy.
• You’ll ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, compliance with licensing law stock control and cash handling procedures.
• Play a crucial role in the day-to-day running of the operation - working as part of the management team to open and close the business and ensure your shift runs smoothly.
• You’ll take your first step on the management ladder.

What will make you perfect for the job?

The key is a passion for delivering the highest standards of customer service. You’ll have hands on experience in a customer service role and some supervisory experience will also be an advantage. Don't worry if you haven’t had lots of experience, we'll give you all the training you need. In return you should be enthusiastic about what you do, and willing to learn. You should also have a good eye for detail and be able to work under pressure.

We are looking for an experienced and a junior Team Leader to join our successful and growing business in the centre ofDulwichVillage. You get the best of both worlds in the village, the welcome of a small local friendly village but 12 minutes fromLondonBridgeand on several well connected bus routes.

The pub is as friendly as the village and we have a great team here but need 2 new great team Leaders to support the existing Management Team. We are a ‘foodie’ pub with a strong focus on our great fresh menu and we have both a variety of bar areas as well as a full-service restaurant, not to mention some 250+ seats outside in the summer!

Great opportunities exist to progress either within the company or to stay and grow within the pub. Full training in our systems and procedures will be provided so all you need to bring is your experience within the hospitality industry, a great personality and a willingness to work your socks off to make sure our guests have a great time.
