An Inside Looks to working in our hotel brand

An inside look to working in our hotel brand: Innkeeper’s Lodge

Looking to enhance your hospitality experience? We offer the chance for our employees to gain added value hospitality experience by working for our hotel brand: Innkeeper’s Lodge.

Simon Stringer, Brand Manager for Innkeeper’s Lodge reveals why Innkeeper’s lodge is a fantastic opportunity for those aspiring for a career in hospitality. “Although we at Mitchells & Butlers love making exciting food experiences for our guests, our services don’t stop there. We also have a highly reputable hotel brand where we deliver end to end services to our guests. Our Innkeeper’s Lodge brand offers unique boutique-style accommodation in outstanding locations. We have 52 AA accredited locations around the UK which are paired with a popular pub or award-winning restaurant, creating a diverse workplace with a team who have a fantastic, broad range of skills”.

Speaking to Simon, it’s clear that working in hotel hospitality alongside restaurants and pubs there is a great added-benefit to working at an Innkeeper’s Lodge. “It’s the perfect opportunity to grow your CV: whether you will be keeping the rooms in tip top shape or serving breakfast to tourists getting fuelled for their day ahead, working at Innkeeper’s Lodge means you will be meeting lots of new people and keeping a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for our guests”.

We make sure our service is award winning for our guests from check-in to check-out in our bespoke country rooms. This hasn’t gone unnoticed! Just this year, BBC Countryfile Magazine Awards awarded Fox House, with its very own Innkeeper’s Lodge, as its 2018 pub of the year! Just like all Innkeeper’s Lodges, The Fox House is set in a beautiful location - overlooking the picturesque Peak District. Once you dive into this family-friendly pub, you can take a break from the outdoor with wood burning stoves, ales and delicious food.

General Manager of the Fox House, Rebecca Aitkin says that “we are so pleased to win this award. Every day I walk into the Fox House I feel a huge sense of pride in my team, the pub and the Lodge. We all work together to deliver the exceptional Innkeeper’s Lodge service to our guests. Each member of the team is always looking out for each other. We are just like a big family in that sense.”

“It’s exciting times for Britain’s holiday makers because we’re set to make Innkeeper’s Lodge even more comfortable and attractive to our visitors” says Simon “Innkeeper’s Lodge is investing in quality. Instead of creating new locations across the country, we are putting money into refurbishment to make sure we offer the best places to stay in the country. Our employees are proud to work here, because they know their guests are getting a truly unique experience.”
