Taking hospitality apprenticeships to the next level with Manchester Metropolitan University

Combining the power of academic learning and on-the-job experience, apprenticeships are a great way for us to develop the next generation of hospitality leaders. Aimed at all levels, our apprenticeships can range from kitchen and waiting roles through to restaurant management schemes and this month we are adding to our learning offer - with the addition of our degree level apprenticeship, in partnership with Manchester Metropolitan University.

The Hospitality Chartered Manager degree includes a range of different areas for apprentices to master; from project management to managing customer and stakeholder relations. The module-structured course means apprentices will get the chance to become confident management professionals, hone cutting-edge skills in pub and restaurant management all whilst developing their skills and knowledge in a more formal academic setting.

Plus, it gets even better. After completing the course, successful apprentices can turn up the heat with the opportunity to apply for CMI Chartered Manager status – receiving a CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership. What does that mean? CMI Chartered Manager status is the highest level that can be achieved in the management profession, so our apprentices can become industry leaders in pub and restaurant management.
