HI, IM Sally

What's your role at M&B and how long have you worked here for? I am Head of People for the City Division so I look after All Bar One, Browns, Castle and Nicholson’s Brands. I joined the Company as an Assistant Manager after leaving University and worked for M&B for 10 years in a wide variety of roles. I then left to run my own business for several years and returned 3 years ago.

What do you love the most about working for M&B? What I love most is working with some really great people. I’ve personally experienced the great career development the Company has to offer and I love being part of providing that for others.

What advice do you have for anybody attending the day? Find out from us as much as you can about working for M&B and take the opportunity to show us all that you can bring to our business.

What's your role at M&B and how long have you worked here for?  I'm the recruitment manager for London and ive worked for M&B for 4 years.

What do you love the most about working for M&B? ! I love working with people, so I love getting to speak with new talented individuals daily and finding them their perfect role within M&B. 

What advice do you have for anybody attending the day? My biggest piece of advice for the recruitment day would be to enjoy it, and use it as an opportunity to find out if M&B are right for you. Ask questions and make the most of the time with different people from various parts of the company. We can’t wait to meet you!

HI, IM Ashley

What's your role at M&B and how long have you worked here for? I am a General Manager, after working my way up from team member, I started in 2008 in Edwards, left for just over a year and have been back in M&B for 5 years now, I have worked for Edwards, Lakota, Nicholsons, All Bar One and now Castle. 

What do you love the most about working for M&B? I love that every day is different, and brings something new, weather that be new guests walking through the door, new people wanting to be part of the team, new bands wanting to play and lots more. I also like the varied options we have with so many different brands, there is definitely career progression.

What advice do you have for anybody attending the day? Advice I would give to new candidates is to showcase yourself, do not let nerves get the better of you, we hire people with big smiles and great attitudes. There is a world of knowledge awaiting in such a big company like M&B with so many different brands and job roles so in a career with us, you will never get stale.
