As a Finance & Pricing Analyst you will be responsible for driving brand financial performance whilst supporting the Finance Manager. You’ll be providing financial analysis and adding value/insight to all areas of Divisional and Brand performance as directed by the Head of Finance and the Finance Manager.

Working in an office flexible role, you’ll be part of our Brand Finance team supporting our Suburban Estate, reporting into the Finance Manager on a permanent basis.

What’s in it for me…

• Love eating out? You'll love it even more with a massive 33% discount across all of our brands, so whether its date night at Miller & Carter or family roast at Toby Carvery we’ve got you covered.
• Flexible working – to fit around the other important things in life
• Annual Bonus Scheme – We’re all about rewarding the hard work everybody puts in.
• City centre office, with smart casual dress code table tennis and table football
• You will be part of something much bigger. At Mitchells & Butlers, we are a 44,000 strong team with over 13 brands, the opportunities are endless.
On top of all this, we offer a pension, 26 days paid holiday; high-street shopping discounts; and we even give you free shares! There's also a free employee helpline- to support you with whatever life throws at you.

What will I be doing…?

• Acting as a main Finance Analyst support for Suburban under the direction of the Finance Manager e.g. attendance at Brand Exec, leading finance section at TOMs meetings, sales & labour targeting and brand forecasts.
• Demonstrating commercial awareness whilst becoming immersed in the brand’s economic model to understand its strengths and challenges to guide financial decisions.
• Analysing factors influencing the overall brand performance efficiently and proactively review key P&L lines including margin, managerial costs and labour. Alongside meeting the monitoring and reporting needs of the brand.
• Reviewing periodic performance of capital investment to generate robust future forecasts and provide ad-hoc analysis.
• Supporting pricing decisions and being responsible for completing pre/post evaluations for brand trials and initiatives.
• Supporting the Divisional Finance team in delivery of ad-hoc projects & continued support of designated Ignite workstream.

What do I need…?

Just like our brands, our teams are diverse. You’ll need...
• Sound commercial acumen/judgement
• Personal courage to challenge performance appropriately
• Ability to gain trust and build rapport with wider functions
• Clear and professional verbal and non-verbal communication and presentation skills
• Ability and drive to meet deadlines in an accurate and timely manner
• Objectivity and impartiality in analysis

Working at the home of hospitality (our head office), you may not be serving our guests, but your support will put smiles on our guests and teams faces. This is the place where we get creative, train our teams and crunch our numbers. We’re all about having fun and creating moments to remember across the nation, our head office is no different.
