We'll help you become confident in the kitchen, and develop you into a vital member of any kitchen team. If you have little or no experience but are passionate about cooking, our chef apprenticeship will give you the confidence to work in a busy kitchen.
As a Chef apprentice, you’ll receive on-the-job training in one of our busy kitchens. From making sure every dish leaves the kitchen looking perfect, to creating our guest's favourite meals and keeping the workspace clean and tidy, you’ll cover it all. With the support from our passionate kitchen teams and your Regional Trainer, you'll work towards a Level 2 Hospitality Food Production Apprenticeship.
Bar & Waiting Apprenticeships
The face of our business, bar and waiting apprentices are the personality that keeps our guests’ coming back for more. We want our guests to love visiting our pubs, bars and restaurants, so we need bar and waiting apprentices who can create special moments every day.
As a bar and waiting apprentice, you'll know our food and drinks menu inside out. So from the minute, our guests walk through the door, they’ll never want to leave. You'll be taking orders and payments, whilst keeping a safe and hygienic working environment, working in one of our businesses no two days are ever the same. With the support from our passionate teams and your Regional Trainer, you'll work towards a Level 2 Hospitality Team Member, Food and Beverage Apprenticeship.
Our Hospitality Management Development Apprenticeship (HMDA) is a fast-track for managers of the future. By gaining experience in the kitchen creating our popular dishes, before heading out front with the bar and waiting team to create memorable moments for our guests, you will truly understand what makes our businesses tick. As you develop, you'll then take on additional responsibilities including recruiting new team members, managing inductions and becoming a specialist in cocktails, cask ales, or wine.
Your first year will see you achieve a Level 2 Hospitality Services Licensed Retail Apprenticeship. You'll then decide whether to continue your development towards the role of Kitchen Manager or Assistant Manager.
