Distinctively premium and authentic at every turn, Castle pubs are an original collection of businesses that sit within the Mitchells & Butlers City Division. This predominantly ‘Metropolitan High Roller’ District is one of a kind – a truly once in a career opportunity.
This District delivers an elevated level of Castle hospitality in 13 iconic pubs, in some of the most affluent suburbs of London. It includes The Spaniards nestled on Hampsted Heath, The Engineer in Primrose Hill with its luxurious north London vibes and The Lamb in affluent, fashionable Chiswick to name a handful. This role embodies the very best of the London premium pub scene.
Our bespoke menus are based on fresh, seasonal ingredients to cater for our discerning guests. This partners with the best locally distilled artisan spirits to delicious untapped wines, top and tailed with an industry leading rotating craft beer range. We're very picky about what makes it into our pubs – it matters to our guests, so it matters to us. We like to be different, polished, and ahead of the game.

What will I be doing…?
Your job will be so varied and rewarding that this little taster will never do it justice, but we'll give it our best shot…
- Making sure your teams bring their ‘A’ game when it comes to premium food, drink and service quality, always delivered with passion and pride
- Leading a diverse team of roughly 350 across 13 pubs in exciting London locations.
- Driving people succession across your District through coaching and mentoring
- You’ll spend time supporting your teams, making sure they’re the best they can be and working together to deliver results to be proud of
- Driving a commercial culture – where delivering consistent high standards, sales and profit are at the heart of everything we do
- Working with your pub teams to unlock local sales opportunities by building connections in the heart of the community they are part of.
- You’ll ensure your teams maintain a safe, clean and risk-free environment
