Working within the Stock and Labour Team, the successful candidate will support key projects and ongoing activities, maintaining accurate labour processes, safeguarding data integrity, and providing second line operational support. They will also collaborate across central, operational, data and integration teams to advance system and technology enhancements.

What will I be doing as a Stock & Labour Data Process Support Analyst...?

  • Day to day administration of the forecasting solutions
  • Analysis of inefficiencies within the forecasting and reporting solutions, and suggest areas of improvement
  • Supporting the IT Helpdesk with software fixes & coaching in line with agreed stock (SWS) & labour (WFM) systems SLA’s through our call management system (ServiceNow)
  • Provide advice and support to users to ensure that both stock (SWS) & labour (WFM) systems are fully utilised to deliver maximum efficiencies
  • Offer coaching and guidance to General Managers’s, Retail Business Managers’, Operations Managers’ and Operations Directors’ across both systems
  • Maintain the knowledge articles that support the Chat Bots and AI platforms
  • Provide analysis of business performance & recommend areas of opportunity based on feedback from operations
  • Provide a service to model the impact of labour standards changes and service productivity initiatives to deliver improved guest satisfaction, whilst ensuring the delivery of brand financial targets
  • Liaising with the Finance Team to support both stock (SWS) & labour (WFM) system as required
  • Liaise with Marketing & Food Trading teams to ensure that the Stock and Labour implications of menu change are fully understood and signed off by the Operations Team and subsequently reflected in the systems
  • Supporting upgrades to software including the testing and enhancements to modules such as Prep & Par and Auto replenishment

 

What do I need as a Stock & Labour Data Process Support Analyst

  • Experience of Mitchells & Butlers current labour and stock approach and KPIs is essential
  • Excellent Excel knowledge with advanced numeric reasoning and strong IT skills
  • Experience creating Power BI reports
  • Good grasp of data and integration fundamentals and data modelling knowledge.
  • Creative problem solving, a sense of curiosity and attention to detail
  • Desirable: Background knowledge of STEP (Master Data Management System) and how it interacts with both systems
  • Desirable: Experience using SQL, Python and Visual Basic
