I recruit for Head Chef and General Manager roles in the West Midlands, across all of our brands.
What do you love about your job?
I love that no two days are the same! I enjoy using my genuine passion for the hospitality sector, and my love for Mitchells & Butlers, to enable me to support candidates in joining our M&B family. I love the flexibility that the role offers me to fit around my busy life, and the opportunities given to me to allow me to meet team members and managers from all of our brands, giving me an insight into industry trends across all of our divisions.

Prepare great examples for your interview
Be ready with two or three stories that highlight how you've supported guests, solved problems, or developed your team. Use clear examples to show patience, teamwork, and initiative, even from non-hospitality roles. Specific wins help us picture you delivering the same standard for your guests.
Show you embrace change and challenge
High-volume settings move fast, so embrace change, variety, and teamwork. Show you're open to changing things up with alternative tasks, and learning new systems or adapting budgets. A positive, can-do attitude often matters more than experience so lean into growth.
