Deputy Manager roles and responsibilities
Let's take a closer look at the key responsibilities of a Deputy Manager at M&B, making sure our shifts run smoothly and our guests have a great time!
- People - it's all about the team – coaching them to deliver exceptional service every time. You'll make sure everyone’s in the right place at the right time, setting them up for success with engaging shift briefs, ongoing training, and supportive coaching.
- Practice - from kicking off the day with smooth opening routines to closing up shop, you'll ensure everything runs like clockwork. You'll make sure the place looks spick and span, maintain health and safety standards, and take care of everything from the front of the house to the cellar.
- Profit - stay on top of cash, security, and stock like a pro. You'll keep wastage low and profits high by sticking to brand standards and recording everything properly. Plus, you'll motivate the team to upsell and boost revenue.
- Guest - teamwork makes the dream work – you'll collaborate with the kitchen crew to keep things running smoothly. By listening to guest feedback, you’ll continuously enhance the experience, ensuring our food and service always hit the mark.
