Sitting within our Premium division, Miller & Carter Steakhouse have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and industry experienced Assistant Marketing Manager, to join on a 12 month FTC basis. Since opening its first steakhouse over 17 years ago, this forward thinking and premium restaurant brand has continued to grow from strength to strength, offering a distinguishable and indulgent experience by combining expertly grilled steak, fine wines, and exciting cocktails all within a buzzing atmosphere.


As Assistant Marketing Manager, your role always requires you to champion the guest, whilst supporting and co-coordinating the marketing activity for the brand, to drive like for like sales and profit growth.


Working within Miller & Carter’s Brand Marketing team, some key objectives in these roles would be:

  • Manage the Drinks activity for the brand, working closely with the Marketing Manager and Drinks teams at M&B, continue to develop the drinks range to ensure we always offer best in market.
  • Lead specific Miller and Carter digital projects, working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager for the Premium Division.
  • Developing new Key dates campaigns including Christmas, Valentines, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Working with various internal and external stakeholders and teams to develop the product, pricing, POS and photography for each campaign and to be the champion for key date activity within the brand, right from ideation to launch.
  • Researching and creating new compelling ideas for gifting and merchandising within Miller & Carter, maximising sales and profit growth within this growing revenue stream.
  • Championing third-party delivery partnerships for the brand with operational colleagues, reviewing key opportunities in product, price and promotions.
  • Project managing the delivery of the brand’s marketing calendar activity to the retail teams including launch communication, merchandising, roadshows and annual conferences.
  • Monitoring market trends within micro and macro environment for Miller & Carter and identifying potential areas in which to invest and act based upon consumer needs, trends and spending habits.
  • Liaising with food and drinks suppliers to negotiate mutually beneficial consumer activity that enhances our guest experience.
  • Day to day budget administration including supplier funding.
  • Managing numerous stakeholders including external agencies and internal teams.
  • Under-taking regular analysis and evaluation to track ROI and recommendations for the future.

  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with many stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Commercially savvy
  • Has a passion for exciting and enthusing their audience
  • Knowledge of M&B internal processes, highly desirable
  • Ability to be flexible with travel
