We have an exciting opportunity sitting within our Restaurants Division for an ambitious and creative Assistant Marketing Manager to support our Toby Carvery brand. A much loved and recognised brand established in 1985, Toby Carvery leads the market with our ‘Home of the Roast’ proposition delivering over 21 million meals a year bringing families together over a perfect roast.

 

As Assistant Marketing Manager, supporting the Restaurants Digital & Trading Marketing Manager with delivery of the annual marketing plan through CRM, social and all digital channels, evolving the proposition and driving brand engagement, new guest acquisition and existing guest frequency. This is a unique AMM opportunity on one of our biggest brands, offering the chance to showcase breadth and depth of marketing skills for the right candidate. Your role will be mobile, focusing on our sites across the UK.

The Opportunity – Assistant Marketing Manager


  • Executing and supporting Toby Carvery’s immediate to mid-term marketing strategy
  • Delivering communication and promotional strategies and managing the budget accordingly
  • Drive and executing communication strategies across multiple digital channels including Social Media, Content, PR, CRM strategy via e-crm and app
  • Creatively evaluating consumer trends, market conditions, competitor information and implementing marketing strategy accordingly
  • Driving the recruitment of new guests via engaging, dynamic local marketing, but also ensuring the retention of current guests
  • Driving Toby’s profit, volume and market share objectives in line with company ambition
  • Effectively managing supplier relationships, and agency partners including effective briefing, project management and the print and production process to deliver cost efficiencies.
  • Building effective operational relationships and managing senior stakeholders to ensure flawless frontline delivery of campaigns and joint understanding our branded offer.

 


What you’ll need to bring to the Assistant Marketing Manager role:

  • Brand Marketing Experience
  • A passion for Digital communication channels & a solid understanding of digital landscape
  • Demonstrable track record on delivering consumer and audience engagement
  • Deep understanding of brand management and development 
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • A focus on delivery and flawless implementation
  • A strategic and commercial attitude to sales and marketing
  • CIM qualifications highly desirable
  • Ability to be flexible with travel
