We have a fantastic opportunity for a CRM Technical Manager to join us on a 12 month FTC/Secondment basis, as an SME on Adobe Campaign CRM tool, providing technical recommendations and leadership on projects, technical developments, and complex campaigns.

 

In this varied role, you will ensure the software is performing and stable, liaising with our IT teams if any issues occur, and work closely with them to process any system upgrades and triage any service issues. You will oversee the data schemas within the platform and implement data management activities, and lead with training for the campaign team to ensure knowledge of the tool and support personal development programme. This role also works closely with the CRM Optimisation Manager and Product Manager to deliver the rollout of new CRM innovations, and you will lead new developments to be delivered on time and to budget.

 

As CRM Technical Manager, you will report into our CRM Optimisation Manager in an Office Flexible role, being based at our vibrant head office in Birmingham City Centre. The Opportunity – CRM Technical Manager

  • Your role and responsibilities will be challenging and varied, including the following: -
  • In-house Adobe Campaign specialist ensuring you are abreast of all the latest Adobe Campaign releases and functionality.
  • Responsible for developing technical and complex campaign workflow templates.
  • SME providing technical guidance, training, and support to all Adobe Campaign Executives and marketing community.
  • Liaison with Marketing, Product and BC&T to ensure system performance and to support any upgrades or system issues that may arise.
  • Lead marketing technology innovation providing recommendations and technical documentation, as well as, testing any initiatives such as new channel integration, digital product development or new systems such as Movable Ink.
  • Work as part of a team with the Senior Product Manager and CRM Optimisation Manager to define and implement the Data 2.0 roadmap.
  • Tester for all new developments, enhancements, or complex communications within the system.
  • Manager of Adobe Message Centre, managing both implementation and performance.
  • Liaise with Service departments including Adobe, data agencies and inhouse helpdesks to triage any Adobe Campaign issues.
  • Review Adobe performance, monitoring API, active profiles and campaign set ups.
  • Manage all data housekeeping and management.
  • Understand and report on all the data schemas and counts within Adobe Campaign.

  • Adobe campaign experience essential.
  • Excellent understanding of Campaign management tools and other deployment platforms.
  • App, Email and/or SMS knowledge.
  • Curious and willing to learn/challenge.
  • Experience of working in an Agency environment is desirable
  • Experience leading technical and data teams is desirable
  • Experienced in multi-channel campaign delivery and always on automated journeys.
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing principles, innovation, and trends.
  • Experience in automation and personalisation tool implementation.
  • Strong understanding of data segmentation targeting and analytics.
  • Strong commercial understanding.
  • Experience with CRM & Reporting software is a must for this role.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across regions and cultures.
  • Demonstrated ability to recommend improvements based on stakeholder requirements and drive them through to execution. 
  • Excellent Programme and Project Management skills.
  • Degree level or equivalent, CRM or e-commerce/direct marketing qualification preferred but not essential.
