We have an exciting opportunity within our Data Management Team for a Digital Events and Menu Manager to join on a 12 month fixed term basis. In this varied and challenging role, you will focus on data validation and ensuring the highest standards of data quality are always delivered, with a key focus on ensuring that all menu Events, POS and Digital Platform releases are on time and accurate with minimal impact for the sites.
Your key objectives will include ensuring menus and booking profiles are built in a timely fashion, accurately and with the guest in mind and creating great UX, as well as maintaining the Events system and menus for all digital platforms / channels. You will provide expert support to sites by problem solving issues logged via our service portal, and assist with maintaining our availability profiles within our order system to ensure that each menu is live when it needs to be.
You will also actively support the digital delivery team with product development, whilst also supporting our Menu Implementation managers with Events and Digital menu queries to ensure smooth execution.
As Digital Events and Menu Manager, you will be in an office flexible role at our Head Office in Birmingham City Centre, reporting into our Senior Digital Data Manager.

The Opportunity – Digital Events and Menu Manager
- Your role and responsibilities will be challenging and varied, including the following: -
- Plan, manage and implement MAB strategy for Bookings, Events and Pre Order
- Mange the Christmas Day pre-order process for multiple brands with a value of £9 million.
- Supporting the Events setup and digital menu maintenance through communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Investigating complex issues with our external integration partners. (Hitachi, Clicks & Mortar etc.)
- Work with Business Change Department to ensure system is at optimum working efficiency and maintained.
- Ensure the strategic direct of brands bookings plan and system developments align with MAB strategic goals.
- Work with test lab to ensure all releases are correctly tested prior to production release.
- Providing data analysis as requested for the Data Management team and external teams.
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing teams and Digital Marketing teams to ensure prompt and accurate information is provided to configure Event booking information for digital channels.
- Ensuring that information is collected and used in a timely manner to implement a brands booking events setup.
- Ensuring the user experience is always at the forefront of all digital menu builds.
- Being Frontline focused during all Event booking and digital menu activities.
- Be the best practice advisor for all Events and Digital Menu setup queries and approaches.
- Working alongside other teams to ensure Events and digital menu setup is always up to date.
- Constant improvement & ownership of processes relating to Events and digital menus.
- Be the data validation lead, to ensure all data being used is accurate and of the highest standard.
- Providing support data and information for ongoing analysis, and informed decision making.
- Maintenance of retail items, choices, imagery, guest facing information within digital menus.
- Configuring key Events and menu data in, Zonal Events, iOrder, STEP, Vantage Point, and Aztec.
- Maintain menu availability for digital channels.

- Understanding of EPOS systems.
- Demonstratable knowledge and experience of Excel is essential, Advanced excel skills are advantageous
- Basic knowledge of HTML and APIs would be beneficial.
