Are you a financial specialist who has a keen eye for detail? If so then we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our Brand Finance Team on a FTC/Secondment basis for 9 months as a Finance Analyst, focusing on reporting across our City Division, and working within our well established Brand Finance Team.

 

This varied role for a Finance Analyst requires an individual to support in providing ad-hoc financial analysis, adding value and insight to the analysis of all areas of performance as required.

 

As Finance Analyst, you will report into our Finance & Pricing Manager for Browns and Nicholsons.  Joining a focused and innovative wider Brand Finance team, working at the home of hospitality (our head office), you may not be serving our guests, but your support will put smiles on our guests and teams faces. The Opportunity – Finance Analyst – City Division

Your role and responsibilities will be challenging and varied, including the following: 

  • Providing financial reporting and analytical support to;
    • Finance and Pricing Manager – Browns & Nicholsons.
    • Operations Director/Brand executive committee of a city brand.
    • Wider divisional city finance team.
  • Delivering specific technical analysis as required, including financial performance, margin, pricing, productivity and any other ad-hoc analysis.
  • Assisting with preparing and delivering brand budgets and forecasts.
  • An opportunity to get involved in a brands menu development cycle, including competitor analysis, promotion/offer assessments and pricing proposals.

  • Desired but not essential: A professional accountancy qualification (AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA) 
  • Proven stakeholder management expertise with outstanding communication skills; the ability to translate financial information to colleagues across our organisation is key
  • Able to exercise sound commercial judgement
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Team player, with a proactive approach
  • Ability to navigate effectively around a large, multi site organisation
