As Food Safety & Quality Assurance Analyst you will be responsible for managing the Ingredient Change Management system and Investigating food & drink allergic reactions, foreign body complaints & quality complaints.
Working in an office flexible role based at our Birmingham City Centre Head Office, you’ll be part of our Safety Assurance Team reporting into the Head of Food Technical & Quality Assurance on a fixed term basis until the end of July.

What will I be doing…?
• Managing the Ingredient Change Management system and providing real time life critical information for front-line teams and guests for both food & drink
• Investigating food & drink allergic reactions, foreign body complaints & quality complaints through to their root cause analysis, consulting the finding with the Head of Food Technical & Quality Assurance and make recommendations via reporting
• Providing a data support service to the company’s food technical and safety teams, in particular: -
- Managing the process for risk rating MAB’s suppliers of food and drink and monitoring the departmental KPI’s
- Managing the Teams Internal Systems E.g. Food Tech Shared Area, Version Control
• Communicating information to our front-line teams, guests and suppliers as required i.e. Product Recalls & Withdrawals, Allergen Guide updates
What do I need…?
Just like our brands, our teams are diverse. You’ll need...
• Food Safety level 4 or above (level 4 HACCP would be advantageous)
• Demonstrate a high level of integrity
• Strong written communication skills combined with good Excel and IT skills
• Sound knowledge of Food Composition, Allergen Labelling
• Practical experience within a manufacturing or catering environment
• A good understand of production processes and a desire to train towards becoming a Qualified BRC Auditor
