We have a great opportunity for a seasoned Marketing Manager looking to develop their experience in innovation or a heavy weight Assistant Marketing Manager looking to step up into a diverse management level role, to join us from either the hospitality, retail or FMCG sectors. Joining our Marketing Innovation team as Marketing Innovation Manager and reporting directly into our Head of Marketing Innovation, you’ll need a natural and genuine passion for our market. This opportunity is a 12-month fixed term contract/secondment. You’ll have a proven track record of launching new consumer brands, including both concept and process development and you’ll bring strong project management, effective planning and sound organisational skills.

As Innovation Marketing Manager, you are responsible for the co-creation of marketing plans that support the successful delivery of new concepts and brand initiatives to the UK hospitality market. You will also be well versed in social media and have experience in developing a social media strategy. Where there is a business need, you may be required to work across a number of brands supporting their social media strategy so a natural interest and love for social media is a must!
What will I be doing?
· Playing a critical role working with the Head of Marketing Innovation in the initiation, definition and validation of new products and concepts
· Managing the end-to-end new concept or product development process, with successful delivery of the core internal processes, from concept brief through to post launch reviews
· Developing and implementing efficient and impactful marketing and social media strategies, alongside campaigns and tactics across the full marketing mix that support the launch, pilot and roll out of concepts
· Delivering clear, quantifiable and actionable BAU marketing plans for successful concepts and brand initiatives
· Leading and coaching an Assistant Marketing Manager
What do I need?
Just like our brands, our teams are diverse. You’ll have or be...
· Evidence and experience of successful brand, product and/or concept development within the hospitality/retail sector
· High level of retail marketing experience across the full marketing mix including social media
· Deep understanding of consumer segmentation, profiling, analysis, and channel development
· Analytical and creative
· Have very strong interpersonal and influencing skills
· A creative, lateral thinker and energetic team player with a high level of enthusiasm
· A Marketing degree and/or CIM accreditation, highly desirable
