As Operational Practice Manager you will be responsible for supporting the area management population (geographically & cross brand) to deliver improvements in performance within the areas of; stock, cash, energy, and labour productivity.
Working in a mobile role, you’ll be part of the North OPM team, supporting approx. 95 sites, predominately located between Leicester, Coventry and Northampton. This role will be offered on a permanent basis.

What will I be doing as an Operational Practice Manager…?
- Providing Stock and cash management support to our GMs and Frontline Teams
- Spending time across your district supporting the effective use of our key internal systems including SWS, Zonal & Teamplan through 1:1 coaching and training whilst on site
- Working in partnership with Area Manager's to proactively improve GM performance in the areas of, stock, cash, energy, and labour productivity by carrying out regular and varied styles of visits including, announced, unannounced support and coaching visits in businesses, timing and frequency determined by the risk profile
- Delivering group training sessions at districts meetings and workshops on stock & cash controls and their subsequent performance, as well as the use of our systems
- Coaching the GM and their team to improve performance and ensuring action plans devised by the GM/KM on the day of visit have all SMART measures in place whilst producing a detailed report of their findings from the visit on the day
What do I need as an Operational Practice Manager…?
Just like our brands, our teams are diverse. You’ll need...
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Prioritise workload using own initiative and judgement
- Ability to demonstrate courage and conviction in the face of challenge whilst communicating effectively both verbally and in written format
- Excellent level of understanding of; cash & stock controls, Teamplan, SWS and energy efficiency
- Full, clean driving licence
Please Note: You must reside in the geography associated to this role between South Leicester, Coventry and North of Northampton
Working at the home of hospitality (our Head Office), you may not be serving our guests, but your support will put smiles on our guests and teams faces.
