Operations Manager - Miller & Carter. UK 'mobile' working
As the Operations Manager for Miller & Carter, you will be directly responsible for leading, coaching and inspiring a team of 5 RBMs to deliver the brands strategic plan, reporting to and working alongside the Operations Director, who has overall responsibility for the brand. You will play a key role in the evolution and development of the brand strategy with the support of central teams to include marketing, human resources, property and finance. You will also have the opportunity to work on company and brand level projects alongside delivering an extensive and fast paced capital investment programme.
Miller & Carter at the present time has 117 restaurants that stretch across the UK. This role will be responsible for 5 Area Managers based in the south. Whilst our head office is located in Birmingham, this role is ‘mobile based’ with a geography that covers UK South.
The brands success is centred around its culture with the primary focus on its people and guest experience, as well as the team’s ability to consistently deliver exceptional quality and great hospitality. It is critical that the newly appointed Operations Manager can demonstrate their ability to both live and drive the culture and be both a mentor and an ambassador to others. The ability to deliver high levels of team engagement and inspire the team to own exceptional standards is key. The ideal candidate for this role will be energising, future focused and lead from the front with passion and pride. They must also be an experienced and proven high performing Operations Manager, able to demonstrate outstanding people, profit, guest and practices results (this performance must be demonstrated in a ‘same level’ role, leading an experienced Area Manager team)
Experience required:
* Proven track record of leading high performing management level teams to deliver exceptional results.
* Good understanding of operational P&L and capital investment.
* Knowledge and experience in food led ‘restaurant’ operation is desirable
