As we focus on growth and cater for a digital hospitality world, our Digital Transformation team play a key part in helping us achieve our exciting goals. We have a great opportunity for a seasoned Product Manager with a deep technical understanding of API design and infrastructure. This skill is vital to the delivery of the digital roadmap, as is experience of managing sprint teams working within agile methodologies. As Product Manager you will embark on an exciting period of digital transformation working across all Mitchells & Butlers brands to deliver and a product strategy across all our digital channels.

 

We have some great projects you’d be aligned to and to give you a little flavour of just what this might look like, you’d be working on several established yet evolving projects, for example - our company wide ‘Order at Table’ and ‘Click & Collect’ apps, not forgetting our multi-brand dine at home delivery services and the integration of affiliate partners.

The Opportunity – Product Manager  

 

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager and working as part of a team of skilled professionals, you will:-

 

· Working for the Senior Product Manager, create and maintain a prioritised product backlog that will drive the quarterly plan

· Creating scenarios, processes, epics and stories, which will provide business drivers behind initiatives, and ensure the architect and development team understand planned goals

· Formulating and managing discovery activities with architecture, business and suppliers

· Managing the day-to-day activities of a nearshore/onshore scrum team, participating in regular scrum cadence, and ensuring delivery milestones are agreed and on track

· Working alongside other product owners to align plans, scope and dependencies

What you’ll need to bring to this Digital Vendor Manager role…

 

· Deep technical understand of API design and infrastructure

· Ecommerce experience, having worked for large retailers undertaking complex projects

· A collaborator with roadmap development and backlog refinement skills

· Hands on experience of writing epics and user stories + supporting the review of UX and Technical designs.

· Knowledge of AI & Machine Learning Principals

· Knowledge of Data Lake and Data Analytic principals

· Knowledge of continual deployment / testing principals

· Supplier management skills – workorder negotiation, resource planning and recruitment

· Strong stakeholder management skills
