We are seeking three innovative Social Media Content Creators to elevate our online presence, connect with our diverse customer base, and drive our brand's digital storytelling. If successful, you will lead the social agenda across part our vibrant estate of over 500 pubs, made up of Sizzling Pubs, Ember Inns, O’Neill’s and our unbranded High Street estate.

 

The division has a strong track record of growth and market outperformance. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate content creator to drive the future social performance of this fun and growing estate.

 

This is a permanent, field-based role, with flexible travel required. The role will require content to be captured during peak (as well as off-peak) trading sessions, and therefore some weekend and late-night work will be required.

The Opportunity

Reporting to one of the Pubs Division Marketing Managers, the Social Media Content Creators responsibilities will be to:

  • Collaborate with the Brand Marketing Team to develop and implement a cohesive social strategy at both brand and local level.
  • Capture high-quality imagery and video content for brand channels on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Generate and execute creative content ideas, keep on top of social media trends, and introduce new digital opportunities to achieve KPIs.
  • Efficiently use social media management tools to schedule monthly content plans and monitor and analyse performance.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and relevant training to a team of Local Social Champions in our pubs.
  • Work closely with the central social media team to support the launch and implementation of new initiatives to improve our performance.
  • Manage our influencer outreach programme at brand level, fostering and developing relationships with external content creators and influencers, acting as the primary contact to manage all activity.
  • Assist with remodels and launch events to maximise social media coverage and engagement.
  • Oversee and execute the boosting strategy for our brand channels to enhance reach and engagement.
  • Analyse and report on campaign performance, including insights and recommendations for future strategies.

 

What you’ll bring to the role:  

  • Experience & Collaboration: Social media expertise, adaptable to fast-paced changes and skilled at building relationships with our frontline teams and key stakeholders. 
  • Creative Mindset: Passionate about creating engaging content driven by data and insights, alongside reacting to relevant trends.
  • Enthusiasm: A creative thinker and energetic team player with enthusiasm and passion for both social media and our brands; with a test and learn mindset and the ability to understand our consumers to drive relevancy and authenticity.
  • Compelling Content: Capable of shooting and editing mobile phone content, with knowledge of tools like Canva and social monitoring platforms.
  • Organisational Excellence: High levels of organisation, prioritisation, and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility: Openness to travel and being out in our pubs at peak trading periods whether that be during key sporting fixtures, late night or at weekend events.
  • Results Driven: Experienced in understanding social media KPI’s and translating reports into actionable insights.
  • A Passion for Sport*

*An understanding of sports, and how to market sports as a reason to visit through our social media channels is required for our O’Neill’s and High Street role, however not essential for Sizzling/Ember.
