Why choose a kitchen career at Harvester?
Harvester has been bringing people together over great food for generations, since 1983 in fact! Our kitchens are fast-paced, supportive and full of variety, with every shift helping serve the dishes guests come back for time and time again.
One minute you could be preparing fresh ingredients for our famous unlimited salad bar. The next, you'll be perfecting rotisserie chicken, cooking steaks and burgers on the grill or making sure every plate leaves the kitchen looking its best.
You'll be supported from day one with training, experienced teammates and opportunities to develop your skills. As your confidence grows, so do your opportunities.
That's why so many people choose Harvester not just for their next job, but for their next chapter.
Your chef career path at Harvester
One of the biggest benefits of joining Harvester is knowing exactly where your career could take you.
A typical kitchen career path looks like this:
Kitchen Assistant → Chef → Kitchen Team Leader → Head Chef
Every step gives you the chance to learn something new.
As a Chef, you'll build your cooking skills and confidence during busy services while mastering the dishes that make Harvester famous. Ready for more responsibility? A Kitchen Team Leader role gives you the opportunity to support and develop your team while building your own leadership skills. From there, you could progress to Head Chef, leading your own kitchen and inspiring the next generation of chefs.
Many of our leaders started exactly where you are today.
