Our Retail Support Centre is in the heart of the vibrant city of Birmingham and as Corporate Recruitment Manager, you will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, working with 100+ niche roles across Mitchells & Butlers corporate functions partnering Hiring Managers and department stakeholders to recommend the best approach to attracting, selecting, and on-boarding external talent into our Technology, Marketing, Commercial, Finance, Property vacancies, and much more! 


The Opportunity – Corporate Recruitment Manager


· Create compelling job advertisements and implement associated recruitment campaigns in support of our internal Digital Attraction team to attract high quality candidates

·  Provide professional support and specialist advice on recruitment, advising on best practice recruitment and selection

·  Provide appropriate recruitment methods to enable effective recruitment

·  Effectively screen, interview and shortlist candidates to meet both current recruitment needs and build talent pools for potential future pipeline

·  Prepare interview questions for behavioural-based interviews in partnership with Hiring Managers

·  Conduct face to face/remote behavioural based interviews with Hiring Managers and key stakeholders

·  Manage and own the full cycle of recruiting from sourcing to negotiating offers

·  Deliver a great candidate and Hiring Manager experience at all times whilst effectively managing candidate communities

·  Monitor and continuously improve the external & internal candidate journeys for applicants

·  Be a Mitchells & Butlers ambassador, promoting Mitchells & Butlers as an employer of choice

·  Liaise with our partner agencies and maintain strong connections and partnerships where appropriate

·  Educate Hiring Managers and key stakeholders on external market knowledge, making suitable recommendations for both current and future recruitment campaigns



What you’ll need to bring to this Corporate Recruitment Manager role…

 

· 4 years + delivering in both an in- house and agency side recruitment role in a large organisation, highly desirable   

· Experience working in a competitive, multi offer marketplace

· Full cycle recruiting experience sourcing, screening, assessing, and offering candidates

· Proven ability to deliver candidate feedback in an engaging yet effective form

· Proven track record of delivering within a fast-paced environment

· Highly resilient with a problem solving and forward-thinking ability

· Curious with a proven ability to influence and coach key stakeholders at all levels

· Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and Testing Platforms

· Ability to successfully manage concurrent, yet equally important demands

· High level of integrity and discretion
