We are actively recruiting for a Drinks Quality Training Partner on a 12-month fixed term contract to join our Learning and Talent team! Working in a mobile role, you will be responsible for implementing the drinks learning strategy across the estate and driving drink sales and profits by developing and increasing the skills, knowledge, and engagement of retail managers and team members. You’ll be partnering with learning and brand teams to deliver effective and engaging drinks training across both digital and face to face methodologies.

What will I be doing?

  • Creating high quality drinks training that improves guest drinks quality satisfaction scores and ABCQ ratings and supports volume growth through operational effectiveness.
  • Improving frontline engagement in both online and face-to-face drinks training, driving improvements in like-for-like completion rates.
  • Collaborate with drinks procurement and operations, leveraging supplier support for training content and drinks training funding.
  • Improving the appropriateness of drinks learning and drinks implementation training, ensuring that the end user and operational requirements are embedded within the content.
  • Positioning drinks training as a resource to support year-round skills development, ensuring training is completed by all new starters, and those that have progressed, as part of their continuing development with Mitchells & Butlers.
  • Investigating areas of drinks skills deficit and to recommend learning solutions that would improve operational performance.
  • Collaborating with Learning Design, building new drinks quality and speed of service learning that delivers a positive ROI.
  • Owning the drinks implementation training process.

 

What do I need?

Just like our brands, our teams are diverse. You’ll need...    

  • Great knowledge of drinks and drink production
  • A track records of improving drinks quality and sales in an operational environment
  • Experience in coaching, ideally at L5 standard or above
  • Experience in training and facilitation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated and organised
  • High level of interpersonal skills and a confident communicator, both verbally and written, with the ability to influence key stakeholders
