Can you be the lead individual who strengthens relationships with both the corporate and frontline teams? The phrase ‘Communication is key’ has never been more appropriate for a role within Mitchells & Butlers as it is for this key role as Internal Communications Co-ordinator!
In this 9 month FTC role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and customer service to internal stakeholders, in need in order to create engaging communication plans for their projects/initiatives across M&B. You will take a proactive approach in maintaining, developing and optimising internal communications channels to deliver clear, timely and engaging content and events.
Working predominantly in our Birmingham city centre head office, you’ll be part of our engaging internal communications team, reporting into the Head of Communications.

What will I be doing…?
- Producing engaging communication material throughout the company, in the form of a relevant news stories, articles and social posts
- Stakeholder engagement across the RSC and with our brand teams
- Assisting in the successful execution of the Internal Communications strategy and tactical plan
- To relay key Company messages across the organisation using existing communication channels
- To assist in the co-ordination of key events within the Company, such as conferences, forums, the RSC Christmas social and the company PRIDE Awards event

- A strategic thinker
- Be adept at building and maintaining a diverse internal network
- High standards of written communications
- Highly organised and methodical with attention to detail as a must
- Ability to multi-task – a chameleon: between internal (RSC) and Frontline priorities
- An understanding of our Company culture and brands – gained from networking and trade visits
