We have an exciting opportunity within our Premium Division to join our Culinary Education Team as a Kitchen Skills Trainer. What will I be doing?


· Championing the development of food skills and food knowledge

· Delivering high impact culinary training that drives customer food quality satisfaction

· Planning, delivering, and reviewing innovative menu implementation training that ensures colleagues in operations have the knowledge to flawlessly execute the menu

· Supporting the development of apprentices through structured mentoring and assessment activity

· Training, mentoring, and reviewing the capability and effectiveness of the Accredited Kitchen Manager, Potential Accredited Kitchen Manager and Head Chef populations

· Completing tactical, brand aligned food quality activity to help raise the quality of food served

· Provide support and guidance to our pipeline of High Potential Kitchen Team Leaders

· Supporting the induction of newly appointed Kitchen Managers

· Contributing to the divisional manpower plans, ensuring talent information about frontline employees is captured in a timely and accurate manner

· Supporting aligned division in bespoke kitchen and food related training activity


What do I need?


Just like our brands, our teams are diverse. You’ll need...  


· Experience in delivering a variety of training interventions

· Experience of delivering culinary focused training programmes to management and leadership teams

· Experience of managing the requirements and expectations of a wide population of stakeholders

· Outstanding facilitation skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Self-starter who understands the need to balance focus and flexibility

· Experience in delivering high impact group training

· Experience in operating within a large matrix organisation
