We have an exciting opportunity within our HR function to recruit a People Partner on a 12 month fixed term basis.


Aligned to our Divisional Operations team within our Restaurants division and reporting to our Head of People for Restaurants, as People Partner you will be ensuring the successful delivery of the divisional and brand people plans. You will play a key coaching role, supporting Retail Business Manager’s to further improve skills and capability within the people arena and providing support to improve performance and embed a development culture.

In the role of People Partner, you will cover national Retail Business Managers’s across our Restaurant division, and as such you will operate in a mobile role, and this will require you to have a flexible approach to travel.

The Opportunity – People Partner

  • Supporting and coaching Retail Business Manager’s to build their capability within role, allowing them to implement the people strategy within District.
  • Supporting and coaching Retail Business Manager’s to improve District performance, specifically around HR Metrics.
  • Supporting and embedding the Big Stretch/ Development Catch Ups with the Retail Business Manager’s, ensuring focus on creating robust Personal Workout Plans
  • Implementing successful and robust Retail Business Manager inductions
  • Liaising with Subject Matter experts e.g. Talent Partners, Retail Capability Partners to ensure Retail Business Manager’s has the skills to build strong succession pipelines, and are utilising the available resources
  • Leading the communications and people priorities in aligned Brand Exec and TOM’s.
  • Consulting and Project managing brand plan activity to ensure people plans are understood and implemented


What you’ll need to bring to People Partner role:  

  • Robust coaching skills
  • Experience of coaching to improve performance and general management/leadership skills
  • Experience of managing the requirements and expectations of a wide population of stakeholders
  • Personal impact and credibility at management level
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter who understands the need to balance focus and flexibility
  • Commercial awareness
  • Resilience
