We have an exciting opportunity for a Resourcing Capability Manager to join our Retail Recruitment Hourly & Project team on a 12-month secondment, covering a period of maternity. Whilst this role and its responsibilities are broad, its focus will be to support our frontline operations teams to successfully source and hire.
Building from this, your role will see you review our ATS system, Harri, enhancing and improving system practices, ensuring we are delivering a 'best practice' candidate and user experience. You will work successfully and in partnership with key stakeholders within HR and Operations to research and recommend retail recruitment practices and tools that deliver optimal results in a challenging marketplace and support the broader recruitment team to deliver their recruitment objectives through a network of local recruitment ambassadors, providing specialist guidance, best practice tools, information and ongoing education.

The Opportunity – Resourcing Capability Manager
- Design and develop training to support ongoing education and capability of hiring managers (specifically General Managers and Retail Business Managers)
- Establish, train and engage a network of high-quality District Recruitment Ambassadors to support ongoing recruitment education at a district level and local recruitment plans
- Act as a key contact for central recruitment events, to plan, co-ordinate and evaluate activity to deliver recruitment hiring objectives (to include the retail graduate scheme and any seasonal reactive recruitment or ‘high priority’ recruitment)
- Drive 100% usage of Harri and the recommended company recruitment practices (M&Be recruited)
- Continuously monitor, evaluate, and improve recruitment processes (M&Be recruited) to attract and retain quality employees, including researching of new ways to attract front line staff
What you’ll need to bring to the Resourcing Capability Manager:
- HR Business Partnering or Recruitment Manager experience in a retail operations environment
- Experience of creating/working with training – analysis, design, delivery, and implementation
- A passion and drive for continuous improvement
- A desire to push boundaries and collaboratively make a difference
- Strong interpersonal skills, influence and communication
- Project management capability – design, planning and roll out of recruitment & training projects
- Proven ability in networking with wider teams and at all levels
- Knowledge of resourcing techniques
