As Building Maintenance Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing control of the Direct Area Repair Technician’s works programme and to provide administrative support. Working from home on a full-time basis Friday – Tuesday, 9am – 5pm, you’ll be part of our expanding Property Building Maintenance team.
As Building Maintenance Controller you’ll join us at Mitchells & Butlers, the heart of hospitality. What will I be doing…?
- Providing a comprehensive maintenance service and support the delivery of reactive maintenance.
- Dealing with telephone and email enquiries from businesses, all levels of the Operations teams, EHO’s, and external Contractors etc
- Daily administration of CAFM system to update, chase, query, investigate, raise quotes, authorise, seek alternatives and process all reactive orders
- Auditing maintenance expenditure
- Ensuring issues are actioned appropriately and promptly whilst taking ownership until resolution is achieved, and highlighting issues for further investigation
- Monitoring reactive revenue and capital replacement expenditure against budget and projection
What do I need…?

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a customer support and administration role, multi-portfolio background highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both telephone and written
- Highly organised
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
As Building Maintenance Controller working at the home of hospitality (our head office), you may not be serving our guests, but your support will put smiles on our guests and teams faces. This is the place where we get creative, train our teams and crunch our numbers. We’re all about having fun and creating moments to remember across the nation, our head office is no different.
