Join us at ibis Styles- Birmingham Centre, a modern hotel comprising of 120 bedrooms, right in the centre of Birmingham! Our central location is ideal for guests, in a prime location for tourism, shopping and leisure areas in Birmingham. We’re also close to key transport links including Birmingham New Street Station, and Birmingham International Airport. We’re on the lookout for a truly adaptable General Manager to inspire and drive an engaged team, could that be you? This is a high profile, high turnover business located next to Mitchells & Butlers Head Office, with great networking and development opportunity!

WHAT WILL I BE DOING? AS GENERAL MANAGER YOU’LL…

  • Manage, coach and train your team
  • Ensure our guests are cared for to the highest standards
  • Have overall accountability for the hotel operation
  • Maintain a high standard of ibis products and services at all times
  • Provide excellent guest experiences
  • Work towards achieving and excelling business targets
  • Dedicate time to develop your team using our tailored development framework

WHAT DO I NEED?

  • A minimum of 3 years experience as a General Manager in a high-volume branded hotel environment
  • A passion for being a true ambassador for the ibis brand
  • A key understanding of how to deliver exceptional guest service
  • Experience sharing the bigger picture to inspire and empower your team
  • Proven ability to develop and grow your team
  • Drive to smash targets with your team
