Do you have experience of leading a team to successin the Kitchen and fancy making a move? Or maybe you fancy bringing yourkitchen management skills to the pub and restaurant business.

Based within a district you will need to drive and have access to yourown vehicle. With the support of your district armed with a training plan youwill grow your team and smash your targets. 

When you become Head Chef inTraining, you’ll learn how to build a kitchen to be proud of the ‘Mitchells& Butlers’ way. You'll be ready to go in no time. Most of our Head Chefs inTraining are in their own kitchen within 6 months.

WHAT DO I NEED?

You’ll…

  • Be a seasoned pro in leading a teamand developing a business.
  • You may be currently working as a commercial catering manager, schoolkitchen manager, care home head chef, sous chef, deputy kitchen manager or the manager of an independent businessor equivalent.
  • Be able to drive, in order to support business in your district whilsttraining.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Across your 6 months of training, wewill give you the tools to become a Head Chef who will...
  • Train and inspireyour team to deliver food to be proud of.
  • Be driven to smashyour targets with your team.
  • Manage foodordering, food preparation and stock control.
  • Oversee that yourteam conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
