Following on from the resounding success of our first Orleans Smokehouse site in Solihull, we have an exciting opportunity to join us as Head Chef of our new opening: Orleans Smokehouse- Upper Norwood! As Head Chef, you’ll work alongside the management team to help bring to life the vision of this new brand. You’ll recruit and grow a team capable of delivering mouth-watering Slow n’ Low BBQ food, and manage all areas of the kitchen, from training and mentoring to overseeing food ordering and preparation.
Orleans Smokehouse is inspired by the flavours of New Orleans, Louisiana. It’s perfect for relaxed get togethers to enjoy the succulent barbecue food lovingly smoked by our pitmasters. There’s no better place in the world to be.
This role comes with the added optional benefit of onsite accommodation, comprising of 2 bedrooms.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING? AS HEAD CHEF YOU’LL…
· Take a hands-on approach to helping develop this new brand.
· Support the General Manager to grow a new team in advance of opening.
· Manage multiple menu options, and be passionate about delivering the best Southern Slow n’ Low BBQ food in town.
· Train and mentor your team to become experts capable of delivering great hospitality.
· Work to create a family-friendly atmosphere of togetherness and generosity.
· Strive towards and achieve business targets including guest and financial measures
