Our Apprentices attend The Apprenticeship Showcase at the House of Commons
At M&B, we are proud to have supported over 4,000 of our team members to achieve new heights through our award-winning Apprenticeship scheme.
This National Apprenticeship Week we are celebrating a number of our talented apprentices by attending The Apprenticeship Showcase at the House of Commons in London.
As Mitchells and Butlers, we are proud to be part of ‘Loving Hospitality’ alongside our colleagues from Marston’s and Greene King, so it was great to be represented by all 3 businesses during the event.
The event which took place on the Terrace Pavilion, saw a whole host of other hospitality businesses such as HIT hospitality, Umbrella Training and Stonegate to name a few. Listening to speeches from members of the Department of Education and UK Hospitality was rewarding for all in the room to find out why hospitality apprenticeships are so important and the impact they are going to have on continuing to drive our sector forward and bring a new wave of education in employment to the UK. In the midst of the speeches, special recognition awards were given out to select apprentices and we are so proud to celebrate the fact that two of our team members were lucky to receive one!
Some of our apprentices were lucky enough to meet their local MPs and were presented with a recognition certificate with the chance ask them lots of questions.
