Working in a hybrid role, with both remote and office working as a benefit, as an Agile Delivery Manager, you will be supporting the effective delivery of complex digital products and services often delivered by multiple teams using agile techniques. You will be experienced or have a desire to be experienced with agile techniques and work in partnership with the Delivery team and Product team, where you will be tasked with ensuring delivery teams are empowered to self-organise effectively.

The Opportunity – Agile Delivery Manager   

As Agile Delivery Manager, reporting into the Head of Agile Delivery, you will:-

  • Evaluate and advise teams on appropriate delivery methodology
  • Actively partner and support cross functional teams with resources from engineering, experiences, production etc in delivery
  • Drive and maintain a high standard for agile ways of working across the digital teams
  • Successfully lead teams through the full product lifecycle
  • Solve and unblock issues between teams or departments across all stakeholder levels
  • Work closely with the Product Managers to ensure that goals are set and managed at all levels (product, release, sprint etc), and production is driven according to the agreed objectives
  • Responsible for delivering assigned projects in an efficient and effective way
  • Facilitating regular updates from the Product team on sprint goals and achievements
  • Create a highly motivated environment and a culture of sustainability, ensuring the needs of the team are met

 

What you’ll need to bring to the Agile Delivery Manager role: -

  • 2-3 years of demonstrable experience of dealing with complex digital projects, preferably utilising a variety of Agile methodologies
  • Agile Project Management including Scrum, Kanban and Scrumban, highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Lean Software Development principles, highly desirable
  • Proven track record of delivering successful projects on time.
  • Confidence to challenge and accommodate in equal measure
  • Ability to motivate and encourage self-management by providing guidance and coaching to other members of the team and acting as a role model.
  • Excellent facilitation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to be flexible in delivery methodologies and approaches
  • Able to work independently and autonomously, managing day to day workload and priorities and managing the workload of others as required
