We have an exciting opportunity for a Oracle Test Lead to join our award-winning Business Change and Technology team on a 18 month Fixed term contract. This role reports in to the Test Strategy Manager. You will have experience working with Oracle Cloud implementations and managing UK Payroll Parallel runs.

This role will involve a mixture of office and home working, with our Head Office based in Birmingham City Centre.

What you’ll be do as our Test Lead…

• Support the Project Managers and senior stakeholders in ensuring that all Project Test requirements are delivered on time and within budget
• Escalation point of contact, for Test related issues.
• Build and maintain robust ways of working between the Test Team and the wider Support Teams that includes, Development, Business Analyst and Business Owners
• Provide an open and honest environment within the team to encourage discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
• Assist the Test Manager internal and external Project and BAU Test Related communication, to ensure clarity and quality of information is maintained to the correct standards.
• Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
• Ensure that all Test specific documentation is maintained to the highest standards
• Provide training and guidance to new team members where required

What you’ll need to bring to this Test Lead role…

Oracle Experience :

• Experience with Oracle Cloud implementations including quarterly update testing
• Experience with managing UK Payroll Parallel Runs

Test Lead Experience:

• Experience managing a test team
• Experience with managing Devops test cycles for technical delivery, alongside fixed waterfall SIT, UAT and PPR
• Experience with creating and running a test strategy, test plan, test scripts, testers, test schedule and testing and defect management
• Experience with managing an implementation multi-discipline team through ERP-type system test cycles including stakeholder management, pre-test training and presenting
• Strong planning and team co-ordination skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to prioritize key tests and issues
• Has experience of Azure Devops 
• Ability to manage testing to the project plan
• Has managed a test team

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• ISTQB Qualification
• Degree or higher in IT/Computer Science
