Thinking about a hospitality job but don’t know where to start? Allow us to unveil the treasure trove of benefits awaiting you!

perks cover our five wellbeing pillars and are available to every person working at our pubs, bars, restaurants and head office, and we’ve included a few of our most popular benefits below. Check them out and see how we'll help you take control of your finances, prioritise your health and make unforgettable memories.

Financial

Dine With Us

We’re kicking off the benefits with our most popular employee perk. You get a whopping 33% off your total food and drink bill, and that’s for you and five other guests. So that award-winning steak from Miller & Carter, Toby Carvery’s roast, or espresso martini at All Bar One just got that little bit tastier, right?

Free shares

Yep, you read that right. After a qualifying period, you can apply to our Share Incentive Plan (SIP). You only need to sign up once and then every year you automatically receive more shares and see them stack up.

Refuel With Us

Our teams voiced their need for a more convenient way to stay fueled and hydrated during shifts, and we heard them loud and clear. Our dedicated app lets you access drinks, starters, desserts, and sides at cost price. Say goodbye to the hassle of packing lunch – just show up to work and savour a freshly made meal, all at a fraction of the usual cost.

Mental

Employee Assistance Programme

Everyone faces challenges in their lives, and as a company, we encourage our people to seek support to navigate those difficult times. With access to Licensed Trade Charity’s Employee Assistance Programme, you can use their app, or call their 24/7 confidential hotline and get advice on anything from legal advice to financial counselling.

Awareness training for managers

A recent poll funded by the charity Mind found that two-thirds of people are finding it easier to open up about their mental health. But there’s still more work to be done. That’s why we’re proud that over 2,000 M&B team members have embraced our mental health awareness course. It’s a big step forward in our journey to create an environment where everyone feels valued and free to be themselves at work.

Physical

Simplyhealth cash plan

There are enough worries in life, so worries about your health shouldn’t be among them. With a Health Plan, you can claim money back towards the cost of your everyday health treatments, including prescription glasses, dental appointments, chiropractors and 24/7 GP video consultations, plus lots more to support you and your family.

Discounted gym membership

Where do you go after work to blow off some steam? If the gym is your place of sanctuary, you’ll be happy to know that all M&B employees get a discount on Nuffield Health's annual memberships. That’s right, you’ll be paying a fraction of the standard membership price and gain access to vibrant gyms that are open 24/7, with up to 50 free classes a week.

Discounted access to Hussle

Our Reward team is always on the lookout for new ways to thank our teams for their hard work. The latest addition to the list of perks our employees can enjoy is discounted access to Hussle!

Being a Hussle member means that you can access multiple gyms and wellbeing centres all over the UK, giving you the flexibility to workout however and wherever suits you best and offering you the variety of equipment to take your fitness goals to the next level. With 33% off monthly passes, you'll keep those fitness levels up whilst keeping your fitness spending down!

Environmental

Environmentally friendly travelling

If you’re a kitchen team member, general manager or part of our bar and waiting team, working from home won’t be on the cards for you. To make your commute to work kinder to the planet and your finances, we offer access to The Commuter Travel Club and Cycle to Work scheme.

Social

Innkeepers Leisure Rate

Whether you want to get away to explore a new corner of the country, experience some sensational pub food, enjoy a great night’s sleep, or all of the above, we’ll help make it happen. We offer a 33% discount at Innkeeper's Collection hotels so that you can find new hotspots across the UK and make great memories with your friends and family.

Charitable giving

If you’ve got a charity that is close to your heart, we’ll make it easier for you to donate to them. Using Payroll Giving, we’ll take your donation straight from your paycheck and send it on to your chosen charity, so you won’t pay any tax on that amount. It’s a win win!

Care concierge

As the demands of both work and caregiving become increasingly common, we know how crucial it is to have the right support. That's why we offer all M&B employees access to Care Concierge – a team of experts in social care, nursing, and care home agencies. They're here to provide free and confidential guidance, helping you navigate the complexities of later-life care with ease.

Join M&B and access our range of benefits

Our people are our priority, that means you! We want you to feel inspired, work hard and be rewarded.

Whether you’re looking to become a master in your kitchen role, find a bar and waiting job within a vibrant team, or step up to a management position, our benefits will make being part of the M&B family that little bit sweeter.
