What are the M&B Graduate Schemes?
Just graduated, or thinking about a career change? M&B graduate schemes give you the chance to dive into the heart of a business that’s all about people, passion, and opportunities. These schemes let you explore different areas of your chosen field, something you won’t find in entry-level roles.
We offer corporate graduate schemes across these areas:
- Finance
- Human Resource
- Marketing (Graduate & Undergraduate)
- I.T.
- Property (Undergraduate only)
Each scheme is tailored to your area of interest, but they all follow the same structure designed to help you learn, grow, and thrive.
Rotate, learn, and get hands-on
A key part of the graduate schemes is rotational placements and workshops. You’ll move through different teams and departments, getting real, hands-on experience and understanding how the business works.
Every graduate starts with a two-week placement in one of M&B’s pubs or restaurants, the best way to see the heart of the business and meet the people who make it all happen.
Throughout the year, you’ll also attend development workshops, covering everything from self-awareness and communication to leadership and career planning. It’s a chance to build new skills and connect with fellow grads.
Your support squad
You’re never on your own in an M&B graduate scheme. You’ll be paired with:
- A buddy (a grad from the year above)
- A line manager
- A placement manager
Plus, you’ll have access to coaching and mentoring whenever you need it. It’s all about making sure you feel supported, confident, and ready to shine.
Hear straight from our grads
Here’s what some of our graduates have to say about their experiences:
- “I’ve genuinely loved the fast pace of the scheme, the variety of experiences, and the chance to meet so many different people across the business. It’s been amazing to explore different paths and figure out what I enjoy most.” – Olivia, HR Graduate
- “During the scheme, I implemented MAB templates in Office 365 Apps across outlets and the office. Seeing something I created improve people’s daily work fills me with pride.” – Sunil, IT Graduate
- “A highlight so far has been working toward my CIMA qualification while supporting brand-wide projects like Order at Table and SocialBite, which aims to end homelessness.” – Baron, Finance Graduate
- “Presenting to senior leaders used to daunt me, but during my Insights placement, I delivered project findings to 20+ people, including Heads of Marketing and operations directors, and nailed it!” – Grace, Marketing Graduate
What life on a graduate scheme looks like
