Chef Ricky

Brand: Miller & Carter
Career journey: Ricky's journey with M&B spans over two decades, encompassing roles from Commis Chef to Accredited Kitchen Manager. His passion for food shines through in every dish he creates.
Favourite food to cook: "I find solace in crafting a French Onion Soup, inspired by a recipe I discovered during my time in America. It's a labour of love, with five types of onion creating a rich and flavorful broth."
Favourite food to eat: "Nothing beats a hearty Steak Pie with truffle mash, reminiscent of homely meals. It's a dish that brings warmth and nostalgia with every bite."
Chef Liam
Job Role: Chef / Brand Apprentice of the year
Brand: Stonehouse
Career journey: Liam's culinary journey began with M&B as an apprentice, where he quickly rose to become the Brand Apprentice of the Year. His dedication to his craft is evident in his pursuit of continuous learning and development.
Favourite food to cook: "While steak isn't on our menu at Stonehouse, it's my go-to dish to cook at home. There's something deeply satisfying about the sizzle of steak on the grill."
Favourite food to eat: "I'm a sucker for a perfectly cooked Sirloin Steak, served rare for maximum flavour. It's a simple pleasure that never fails to lift my spirits."
Chef Angela
Job Role: Accredited Kitchen Manager
Brand: Ember Inns
Career journey: With 21 years of experience at M&B, Angela's journey has been marked by dedication and passion. From bar team to the kitchen, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
Favourite food to cook: "I love the vibrancy of preparing Tikka Skewers, with their colourful spices and flavours. It's a dish that never fails to bring a smile to my face."

Job Role: Head Chef
Brand: Vintage Inns
Career journey: Dan's culinary journey with M&B began from the ground up, evolving from a pot wash into a head chef. His passion for food and creativity shines through in every dish he prepares.
Favourite food to cook: "I find solace in preparing a BBQ, particularly beef short ribs slow-cooked to perfection. It's a dish that brings family together and creates lasting memories."
Favourite food to eat: "When it comes to comfort food, nothing beats a classic Pizza. Thin, crispy crust topped with ham & pineapple—it's a timeless favourite. I know pineapple on pizza is a controversial choice, but I absolutely love it!”
Chef Sam
Job Role: Sous Chef
Brand: Vintage Inns
Career Overview: Sam's culinary journey spans two decades at Ember Inn before finding a permanent role at Vintage Inns in 2023. His love for Spanish cuisine stems from his time spent in Barcelona, infusing his dishes with authentic flavours.
